Can?t beat that contract for a closing pitcher and I?m still a believer in Sanchez even if he got off to a rough start with the Astros also not on a bad contract. Guardians to confirm.

guardians agree i was not that high on danchez and wad able to add 2 top playets to my young team. ill be able to replace sanchez during free agency and i already have a closer in cade smith and ill be able 2 add anotjer great rp during free agency.

2 weeks ago CLE traded for Sanchez-"cleveland agree i make this trade for playets i like more." and I doubt that Sanchez (or Castellanos for that sake) can be replaced in FA for $4.5M. If he can , what's the point in trading them. Let's call it what it is- another salary dump.
For Pittsburgh's sake I won't veto it, there is return value. Let's just say if they weren't spending $32m in dead money there wouldn't be a need for this fire sale.

I agree, more than likely a salary dump. But that said, he did have to tag along Santana's good contract with it. Don't love Pirates giving up decent prospects and taking the money back, but that said he believes in Sanchez and arguably he might of had to give up the prospects to get Santana if Sanchez wasn't in the deal.
