Pirates extend C Shea Langliers, I believe he was #5 ranked catcher at his highest last season, which had him earmarked for an $8millon dollar AAV extension, but using a 30% prospect discount I believe his extension should be $6m. If so we?d like to extend him at 5 years $6m AAV.

You've got the right idea but a few numbers are wrong.
He's showing as $0.5m 2026. Looking into it I find it should be P-2026 so he does qualify for a Prospect Extension. The discount is 60% for those in the final year of their contract making it $4.8 or $5M
If you use the discount the contract must be for 5 years so it would end up being $5M 2031. The new contract would take effect immediately.
