I can't agree with this.
It's a clear salary dump of a bad contract by a team desperate to purchase more FA.
This would cut Houston's balance in half and leave him paying for the equivalent of the #11 CI in our league for the next 4 years.

the trade was made by houston because he lost max kepler for 80 games from ped. he came to me about raley. i have never veto anybody trades in fgm. their wasnt much in free agency to go after and 99% of the players were over paid.

Forgot I had to state a rationale for the trade, but Brian has it right. Wanted to fill the hole left by Kepler's suspension, and not get into a big bidding war for a different OF, which would likely cost me more than Raley given the sparse number of servicable OFs available

im glad u all know what im doing in free agency. my outfield iis set. i just got a another catcher. only a few mi left which our going probably going way over price raley contract.
