Title: Cap Hit Calculator

I have added the Cap Hit Calculator to the Extension Calculator.  This is for your convenience in figuring cap hits for players you are considering dropping or are going to drop.  If you are actually going to drop the player, you are welcome to leave the information in the sheet.  This is basically the same thing I enter the actual cap hits into.

To use:

• Enter the player name, contract end year & $ amount of contract
• Type: r = release, y = buyout
• Enter cap hit % for each year remaining on the contract
• Fields with green headers are not able to be edited - these are the calculation fields
• The Buyout column displays the total amount of the buyout
• The year columns will display the cap hit amount for each year remaining in the contract.  A buyout will only display in the current year column.

This is not a requirement for GMs to use.  This is provided for your convenience.
