I noticed today that according to the schedule, we will not complete the 162 game schedule until the end of next week. Traditionally, week 1 is one period and this year it was combined with week 2. I apologize for the error.
As a result, please note the following - Playoffs will start 8/25
- Free agency is extended one week and will now close 8/18 at 12pm ET
- The World Series will extend through the final week of the regular season. This has traditionally been an off week.
There will be no changes to the of season schedule.
