Title: Entry Draft too many rounds?
Post by: bridgestone on May 04, 2010, 01:50:00 PM
Are we going to do another 10 rounds in 2011?  It seems to be a bit too much, it would take a long time, and may be better suited for 5 rounds.  The reason I say this is because we are now adding the supplemental round and everyone's EDR isn't going to empty itself out every year.  It also adds more strategy to EDR management when you aren't guaranteed 10 replacements every year.

Perhaps the RC should look at this after this year's draft?

Perhaps the RC should look at this after this year's draft?

The current EDR size of 10 was set with the understanding that it will be revisited in the future, slowly expanding it to a size that better suits a 10 round draft each year
