1m * .9 = 900k
900k rounds to 1m buyout
You're correct on the release portion- It would be a $1m Cap hit.
For the buyout of the Cap hit you are charged a !0% tax so the buyout would be $1.1m rounded up to $1.5m. No need for a buyout with just one year in Cap hits
