Release and buyout:
Whit Merrifield MI/OF FA 0.5MM(2026) $1MM buyout
Spreadsheet correction: Tyler Gough is listed on my spreadsheet with a contract of $1.0MM(2026). I picked him up as a PC on January 20 (processed on January 23), then dropped him on February 6th (SS on February 8th) in a post titled "Nationals Roster Moves Feb 6". So he should not be on my SS, and for the time he was on my roster he was a PC so droppable without a penalty.

If you "release" the price will be $0.5m each for 2025 and 2026.
There is a 10% tax to "Buy out" which, rounded up, would end up being $1.5m.
