The Oakland A's have signed Jered Weaver to an Extension.  Mr. Weaver will earn $11mil over the next 3 yrs.  He will be under contract through the 2012 season.

Weaver's best ranking between 2008 and 2009 is 38 which markets him at $9.5m per year.  You may looked at only starting pitchers in Fantrax giving you a higher ranking.  Please verify that you want to sign him at $9.5m/year through 2012.
