Title: Nationals - Brewers trade
Post by: DaveW on March 26, 2025, 09:28:10 AM

Nationals trade:

Jett Williams SS/OF NYM prospect
3rd round pick in 2028

Brewers trade:

Robert Suarez RP SD 8.0MM(2028)
3rd round pick in 2026 draft

Nationals approve.  I need to strengthen my bullpen and Suarez is a solid, albeit expensive closing option.  Jett Williams may make me regret this deal but I have a lot of depth at OF between prospects and pre-arb major leaguers.  Good luck @NippyJones !'

The Brewers confirm as it gives me a potentially exciting prospect and some cap relief.
