Title: Tigers and Cardinals
Post by: TheLongHorn on March 25, 2025, 12:16:46 AM

Tigers send:

P Tarik Skubal $11.2M Arb 5

to Cardinals for:

SP Erik Feede $7.25M (2028)

OF Nolan Jones $4.75 (2028)

P Juan Salas PC

Tigers have $40M committed to one, Juan Soto, so Skubal?s upcoming extension was not in the cards for us. We flip him for two cost controlled MLB guys we believe in. Salas has great strikeout numbers so he?s a prospect for our little farm (19 prospects, sos send help). @STLBlues91 to confirm, thanks for the quick talks.

STL agrees to the deal. Will have another year at a decent value before I have to make my contract choices. Have always been good with balancing cap
