Title: Angels/Cubs Trade
Post by: game162 on January 18, 2025, 05:03:06 PM

Angels trade:

CI Michael Busch P-2027

Cubs trade:

SP Jared Jones P-2027

Pretty clean deal here...with 2 young players at the same stage of their contract.  Angels have a logjam at CI, making Busch expendable. We have been looking for a quality SP that will help give us the numbers to survive the typical injuries our rotation deals with on an annual basis.  This deal checks both boxes for us.

Good dealing with you, TheProfessor...you're up to confirm.

:CHC: confirm.

Been looking for more help at CI, and this deal fits the bill.
