Title: Moneybook work (league questions to answer)
Post by: Jon on December 28, 2024, 08:21:32 AM
Please post any questions that are not already answered in the league handbook.  The handbook will be a continual work in progress until everything is posted that is needed for the league.

To answer:
1.  Penalties for dropping players under MLB contract - This is a percent of the current year only

I don't see the league rules posted, so I'll ask this here.

Now that all of the rosters are loaded, do we have to start with all of those players or are we allowed to trim our initial roster down?

You'll have unlimited free drops from your initial roster.  Rules are posted here:  https://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php/topic,481262.0.html

Initial Roster Exceptions
Initial rosters are as of December 31st, 2024. GM's are allowed unlimited 'free drops' from their initial rosters in order to reduce their salary cap and eliminate undesirable contracts before the league officially starts. Additionally, there will be a trade window prior to the implementation of the salary cap, giving GMs the opportunity to trade players and adjust their rosters to comply with the cap.
