Title: Twins - Guardians Trade
Post by: NippyJones on December 15, 2024, 11:50:37 PM

The Twins trade 2B Andres Gimenez to the Guardians for prospects 2B/3B Caleb Durbin and OF Chris Newell.

The Twins acquire their 2B of the future, hopefully in 2025, plus an OF prospect with some pop. It's tough giving up Gimenez but Durbin should be a great replacement.

I accept.  I needed a starting 2B.  While I like Durbin, it's unclear to me when he's going to play for MIL due to who's in front of him.  Giminez should be locked in as a starter for the next 3 years in my MI.
