Title: Rockets and Spurs
Post by: POWERHOUSE on December 14, 2024, 09:20:19 PM

:HOU-NBA: Trade

C Alparen Sengun 3.9m (2024)

:SAS: Trade

RD1 (Memphis) 2026

Going to build this thing through the draft and free agency. Have a few core pieces in Reed Sheppard, Amen Thompson and Brandon Miller to build around. Looking toward adding a star in FA next year and build it out through the draft the next couple of years. @Interpaga to confirm

Spurs confirm.

We were looking for a top player to help us this season. Spending a first-round pick to get a player with an expiring contract is not cheap, but we hope it will be worth it.

Spurs free release the following players to sign Sengun:
- Javon Freeman-Liberty
- Ibou Badji
- TJ Warren
- Robert Covington (in the spreadsheet Covington was previously released by mistake instead of John Wall, Fantrax is correct)
- Boo Buie
