I appreciate you all bearing with me. As previously announced, the draft has been moved from November 1 to November 15. I appreciate everyone's patience with me for doing this. I really don't like doing this, but I just didn't have time to get everything all set up in advance of the November 1 date. I apologize.
I have found a site that I am going to use for the lottery draft. I will announce these live here on Tuesday, November 5th at noon CT, if you all wish to watch. Here is the process I intend to use:

The odds are the same odds as the 2023 MLB draft. This was the first year that MLB did a draft like this and all teams were still able to receive the lottery draft pick. This year most closely matches the situation we have in FGM. I took the % odds and multiplied them by 10 and that is how many "lottery balls" the team received. Here is the breakdown:
Pittsburgh Pirates 16.5
San Diego Padres 16.5
Atlanta Braves 16.5
Cleveland Guardians 13.2
Detroit Tigers 10
Cincinnati Reds 7.5
Boston Red Sox 5.5
Miami Marlins 3.9
Arizona Diamondbacks 2.7
New York Yankees 1.8
Baltimore Orioles 1.4
San Francisco Giants 1.1
Oakland Athletics 0.9
Chicago Cubs 0.8
Texas Rangers 0.6
Toronto Blue Jays 0.5
New York Mets 0.4

The site has generated the order that will be used for the draft. That will be available for reveal on Tuesday at noon CT. I will reveal each team at the site starting at #6 and working up to #1. As I reveal each team, I will post the team in the chat above. This will be done for the first 6 picks. The remainder of the picks for non-playoff teams will then be assigned based on team record. This is for the first round only. The second round will revert to strictly standings based placement, so :PIT: will pick first in the second round, followed by :SD:, etc. Once the draft order has been revealed, the team selecting first will be allowed to make their pick as soon as they wish. However, they will not be on the clock until November 15 at 9am ET.
