Title: Rockies- Rangers Trade
Post by: DaveW on October 31, 2024, 10:29:58 PM

Rockies trade:

Brandon Nimmo CF/OF NYM 7.9 2025
Danny Young RP NYM P-2027
Tommy Troy 2B ARZ prospect
Ryan Lobus SP TEX prospect
2025 draft pick 4-ARZ

Rangers trade:

Brendan Donovan 2B/OF STL P-2025
Jason Foley RP DET P-2025

Rockies approve.  Trading out of areas of depth for improvements to 2B and RP.  I like Donovan's multi-position eligibility as well.  Thanks for the trade talks and good luck @bamavs !

Rangers agree. I had multiple CF options last year but that position availability has changed where I have multiple 2B options. Young is under contract longer than Foley, and I also like Troy and especially Lobus as prospects for my rebuild long term.
