Title: Rangers Extensions
Post by: rcankosy on October 30, 2024, 05:38:15 PM

I don't think it matters, but it looks like the extensions I requested last week for the following players were retroactively applied to 2024, thereby making it seem as I am over the 2024 salary cap. The contracts appear to end in the correct years.

Merrill Kelly - 8m
Nick Martinez - 4m
Tylor Megill - 4m

You're correct, Roy. It doesn't matter...

Contracts are entered only with an end date, not a start date. Once we roll the SS over to the 2025 season, you will no longer be shown as "over cap." In the meantime, it doesn't matter.
