Title: Guardians/Expos Trade 10.10.2024
Post by: ndog on October 10, 2024, 09:36:34 AM

Cleveland Trades
Freddie Freeman, 1B, LAD, $40M, 2028

Montreal Trades
Tyler Soderstrom, 1B/C, OAK, $500K, P-2027
Kyle Manzardo, 1B, CLE, $500K, P-2027

Freeman is a great player.  However, his salary along with my teams current cap limited my flexibility.  I receive two players back that I like and I am anticipating they will become regular contributors in 2025.  This adds to my roster flexibility as well with Soderstrom being eligible for 1B/C.

Nice working this out with Expos.  Best of luck moving forward.

Expos agree i add another big hr bat to my tram with trout, stanton and happ this will allow me to go into.free agency looking for pitching and not have to over pay for marginal guys hitting.
