Lineups
10 active players per team, 2 G, 3 F/C, 5 Flex, no bench (1 IR slot).
College must keep always 10 players (excluding 1 IR slot). For each add, you should make a drop.
Each team cannot drop and must keep for the entire season the freshman selected in the draft.

Roster
The initial roster for each college will consist of 9 players from that college (no freshmen) and a tenth player selected through a draft of freshmen.

Draft
1 round draft each year. Only freshmen can be selected in the draft.
The order for the 2024 draft will be the inverse of 2023/24 NCAA net rankings.

Starting from 2025, our draft order will be determined by the actual NBA draft selections. If one of your players is selected in the NBA draft, your college will be awarded a compensation pick, and the order of this pick will depend on how high is the position of the player in the NBA draft. The earlier the NBA draft selection for a specific player, the earlier the pick in our draft.

Here's an example.
Actual NBA draft:
1 Flagg - Duke
2 Bailey - Rutgers
3 Harper - Rutgers
4 International player
5 Edgecombe - Baylor

Our 2025 draft order:
1 Duke
2 Rutgers
3 Rutgers
4 Baylor

Once all compensation picks have been assigned (theoretical maximum of 60), only the colleges that did not have a player selected in the actual NBA draft will be assigned a single pick based on the order (not inverse) of their ranking in the NCAA Dynasty basketball regular season.

College claims
Within 48 hours of the conclusion of the draft each year, teams can claim freshmen from their own college who were not selected in the draft and also any other player from their own college that is not already in another team (for example, new players that has committed to that college and transferred from a mid-major). All players not drafted and not claimed within 48 hours will become free agents in Fantrax and can be recruited freely by any other college.

Recruiting
During the season, recruiting will be done directly on Fantrax (automatic add just clicking on the green button in the players page on Fantrax, no waiver wire). Max 3 adds for each team in the pre-season (anyway each college must keep a maximum of 10 players) with a limit of only 1 add in the 24 hours after the pre-season recruiting period starts. Max 2 weekly adds for each team during the regular season.
Recruiting will close 4 weeks before the end of the regular season and reopen in mid-March only for teams participating in the March Madness.

Trades
Trades are not allowed.

Regular season
The regular season will last for 19 weeks. Each team will play 1 game a week for a total of 19 games.

Conference standings tiebreakers will be as follows:
1. Head to Head Record
2. Most Categories won during the season

March Madness
Knock-out tournament with 8 colleges invited. A dedicated league will be created in Fantrax for the March Madness.
The winner of each Conference and the second-placed with the best record (tiebreaker Head to head record) will participate in the March Madness.
Other 2 colleges will be invited:
- The first invitation will go to the team with the most lottery players in the latest ESPN mock draft when the regular season ends in mid-March (only players who have been on the roster for at least 4 weeks will count). Tiebreaker, the team with the player ranked highest in the mock draft. If no team has lottery players in the mock draft, the invitation will go to the team that ranks highest in the regular season among those that do not qualify directly as a Conference winner or the best second-placed team;
- The second invitation will go to the team with the most players in the first round of the latest ESPN mock draft when the regular season ends in mid-March (only players who have been on the roster for at least 4 weeks will count). Tiebreaker, the team with the player ranked highest in the mock draft. If no team has players in the first round of the mock draft, the invitation will go to the team that ranks highest in the regular season among those that do not qualify directly as a Conference winner or the best second-placed team.

For March Madness matchups, if a matchup ends in a tie, then the tiebreakers would be:
1. Regular Season Record
2. Head to Head Record in Regular Season

Please note that players added coming from your own college do not count towards the weekly adds limit. Essentially, you can add players coming from your own college during the regular season without any limitation
