Title: Royals / Rockies
Post by: Colby on October 21, 2009, 11:10:05 PM
The Royals and/or Rockies may be open.  I am awaiting confirmation.

Two steps forward, one step back, but at least we are making progress!

I heard nothing from the Rockies, but he is a friend of the Royals who has confirmed that this league is just not for him.  With that said, I wanted to let everyone know that Dan Wood, the new Reds GM, is a big fan of the Royals and wanted to take them if they became available.

If people are fine with that, then the first person on the waiting list is bruzandbluz@hotmail.com, and he actually favors the Reds.  Next on the waiting list is the newest member LArclemente who would take the next available team, the Rockies.

Dan, I'll need you to comment on this situation first. :judge:

I am friends with the owner of the Mariners, and he has told me that he will be too busy to manage them.  Consider the Mariners looking for a general manager, Colby.

Dan PM'ed me and is sticking with the Reds with how many moves he has already made.  bruzandblue and LArclemente are next on the waiting list.  In a pre-made agreement with the Dynasty MLB Elite commissioner, Jon Asher and I are both taking the Blue Jays in each other leagues.  As he has enough to deal with in his league, we are both going to setup/manage the Blue Jays for each other (I'll tell him the market values of his free agents).

Negotiations are still going on, but it appears the the Royals are close to signing Emmanuel Huerta (LArclemente (http://profsl.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=337)) at their new GM!
