Warriors get:
- Spurs second round pick 2026

Spurs get:
- DeAnthony Melton $12.8m 2024.

Spurs expect good production from Melton this year and are happy to spend a second round pick even if the player is on an expiring contract

Warriors deal of melton who does produce decently but feel like the cost to resign will be high and rather get a pick that could be used on a better prospect on a long term deal
