Title: Guardians/Rockies Trade
Post by: Paul S. on July 29, 2024, 09:51:21 PM

Rockies Trade:  OF Alex Verdugo $4m 2026 plus $0.5m cash in 2024

Guardians Trade:
C Kyle McCann $0.5m P-n/a
OF Johnathan Rodriguez $0.5m P-n/a

Rockies make this trade to add a backup catcher for the playoffs.  We reduce future payroll and deal a surplus OF who is rarely in our starting lineup this year.

Guardians to confirm.

Fantraxed 8/1/24.  Dropped and added since Fantrax would not allow a trade after the trade deadline.
