The Washington Nationals and Oakland A's have agreed to the following deal:
OF Morgan, Nyjer, $1m (2012)
SP Pineiro, Joel, $12m (2010)
9-17 OAK
9-18 OAK (from ARZ)
10-17 OAK
10-18 OAK (from ARZ)
for
OF Dunn, Adam, $10m (2010)
Dunn give me the slugger and OBP machine that my lineup is lacking. His acquisition actually frees up some cap room for me as well. Dealing Piniero is a gamble with the injury history of JJ, Liriano and the amount of sliders Anderson throws, but we all know the offensive push is worth the risk.
Jake to agree, good working with you.

Nationals confirm. Moving Dunn was also a goal of mine for the year, in the hopes of receiving a younger player or two, and Morgan fits that bill as a quality OF that has a decent OBP for his role. Piniero is a rental for one year, and could possibly be used to trade to a contender later this year, but is a quality pitcher nonetheless. I acquire the back end (and all) of the A's draft, to go after 4 more prospects.
Dan, I should be at my roster limit, I know I just added +2 players from the Zim trade, and +1 here, along with Eveland, Velez, and Mejia. I should be at +6 for players as of the current official roster, so I think I'm right at 40. If I have missed anyone, let me know and I will release the necessary players.
Thanks Rob, a pleasure.

:iatp: fair value for dunn

Good trade. Dunn is underrated in fantasy IMO so Nats got fair value in return
