Title: Reds-Yankees Trade
Post by: TheLongHorn on July 03, 2024, 10:02:43 PM
:CIN: sends:

2025 :CIN: fourth round pick

to :NYY: for:

SP Chris Archer $4.6M (2024)

SP Jordan Lyles $7.0M (2024)

2025 :NYY: 2nd round pick

Reds make this trade to get better draft capital in next year?s draft. We?ve got the cap space to eat these two contracts. Yankees to confirm, thanks @Ben!

Yankees ACCEPT

This deal id to open up cap space the rest of the season. Would be nice if Archer hurries up and just announces he is retired.

Thanks @TheLongHorn for the quick talks
