Title: Reds/Dodgers deal
Post by: Dan Wood on January 15, 2012, 06:41:30 PM

Reds get

P Campos, Jose, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Millone, Tom, $0.5m (P-n/a)
RP Hanrahan, Joel, $1.5m (2012)

Dodgers get
SP Beckett, Josh, $8.5m (2014)
+3 mil in 2012 from Detroit
+1 mil in 2012 from Cincy

I do this because of being handcuffed by salary next season...Milone is a solid cheap starter. Hanrahan is a very good reliever for a 1 year rental, and Campos is awfully popular at the moment, so we'll see what he turns into. Howe to confirm...Thanks, it was a pleasure

LAD confirms. We needed another SP to round out the rotation. Thanks Dan for the quick deal.
