Red Sox trade
P Doubront, Felix, $0.5m (P-n/a)
MI Escobar, Yunel, $8m (2015)
Red sox add 1 mil  for escobar contract in 2012

Reds trade
MI-CI Sizemore, Scott, $0.5m (P-2014)
OF Morgan, Nyjer, $1m (2012) 

Red sox would like to extend morgans contract as well ranked 55 in 2011
OF Morgan, Nyjer, $3.5m (2015) 
 
Red Sox make move because we add a guy in sizemore we feel will improve on trade to Oakland and be healthy for full year and get Morgan to add depth to outfield.

Does Sizemore retain his MI eligibility in 2012?  He had 18 GP at 2B last year.

Reds agree...We get the upgrade at MI that we needed, and deal away some depth to do so. Will have to figure out $$$ next season, but that can wait. Thanks Jeff.

Sizemore had 22 games in minors at 2B, 17 in majors...so yes he maintains his MI eligibility...
