Title: Trade: Cubs/Guardians
Post by: Brent on February 09, 2024, 09:45:43 AM

The Cubs and Guardians agreed on the trade below.  The Cubs move a SP spec for a couple RPs who can help now and round out my pitching staff.  Thanks for easy negotiations.

Guardians trade:
RP, Chris Stratton, $0.5M(2024)
RP, Joe Jimenez, $0.5M(2024)

for

Cubs trade:
SP Jay Groome, spec

We probably to need to wait 72 hours after acceptance during the offseason.
