Title: Cubs/Padres Trade
Post by: POWERHOUSE on January 21, 2024, 10:40:27 AM

Cubs send:

SP Cade Horton (prospect)

Padres send:

SS Colson Montgomery (prospect)

Rankings and projected value are pretty close on the two prospects. Love everything I see with Montgomery except for his game power which, looking at all the data/metrics and his size, you gotta think will come. We'll see.  Thanks @janesvilleaces

Padres accept. Dealing from a position of strength to get pitching..(which you can never have enough of). Thanks for the deal.
