David Long LB/MIA $10 (2026)

Saints Receive:
Pete Werner LB/N.O. $8 (2027)

Vikings adding offensive depth to help build out the roster and swapping LBs. Turpin will be extended.

Nice easy talks @Brent

Saints confirm.  I bring Werner home who is a little younger and a little cheaper on his annual salary while the cost to do that was Turpin.  I do add a 4th that I can use to replenish my depth.  Thanks for the smooth negotiations.

@Braves155 Turpin ended the 2023 season on the practice squad. Do you intend to place him on your PS, or your active 53 man roster?
