Title: Rockies - Rangers trade
Post by: DaveW on December 30, 2023, 03:29:48 PM

Rockies trade:

Christian Betancourt C MIA 1.1MM 2025
Lenyn Sosa 2B CHW P-2026
Pick 4-7 in 2024 draft

Rangers trade:

Scott Barlow RP CLE 2.5MM 2025

Rockies approve.  Recent deals have made Betancourt and Sosa expendable, and while Barlow had a rough year last year it looks like he's got a solid RP role for Cleveland this year.  Good luck @bamavs !

Rangers agree to this. This give me both of the MIA catchers now whihc helps keep a C available all of the time. Also my only depth is at RP, so hoping to flip one player to get 2 hitters that can contribute while also grabbing a draft pick to continue my rebuild with.
