Title: New GMs' Probationary Period, testing it out on new Orioles GM

The EC (Dan, Jake, and I) have decided to set rules for new GMs.  We want to prevent hiring of faulty GMs.  Therefore, a new GM isn't official in their post until two weeks after they are given the opportunity.  During, this period, they are not allowed to make moves.  They can post a depth chart, trade block, and get into trade discussions.  This is considered to be a planning phase.  If they show they are active and legit, then they will be officially hired.

With that said, the Orioles are taking a look at Laura Fields (OriolesGirl).  Everyone, welcome her to the league.  Hopefully, this Orioles fan will take the job seriously and be here for quite some time.

Thanks for allowing me in the league.  I have been playing in a couple leagues with friends and family and one of them is a contracts league, so I am familiar to this concept.  I'll read over the rules and post any questions.  Thanks and go O's!

Good to have you, Laura.  You have a lot of work on your hands with the O's, but hopefully you can make them better in the coming seasons.
