LW - Carl Hagelin, N/C, (0 Games)

Traded to the New York Rangers
Penguins send their 3rd Round Pick plus
Right wing Trent Hunter, $0.2m (2012-2013)
Defense Theo Peckham, $0.4m (2011-2012)

For trade committee's approval.

My Pens needed some youth up front. Rangers were in the market for some depth. I think we're both happy with this trade. Rangers to confirm.

I'm not feeling so good about this deal anymore. Geez, Thanks boys. There's a price to pay for everything and though I may have given up a bit extra, I also believe that I cannot gain much more from those depth players this season so I might as well trade them to someone who can while adding a building block for the future. I didn't expect to be rebuilding this season but that's the way it turned out.
