Earl, the :ARZ: GM, is going to be away from the league for an extended period of time. He hopes to be back for next season. As a result, the league will take control of his team until he is able to return. The following is how this will be handled:
Draft: The team will auto draft
Free Agency: The league will bid on the team's behalf to enable the team to be competitive and have roster spots filled
Trades: Because trading is too complex without guidance from the GM, the league will not engage in trades on the team's behalf.
This arrangement will be reviewed at the beginning of the 2024 season.
