Jays were not looking to deal GRod, but the opportunity to shore up SS for the foreseeable future with a young talent in Neto and add Ashcraft an underrated pitching prospect was hard to pass up.

Yankees are in need of an SP and a bullpen arm for the stretch run and are able to acquire both here. Neto would be tougher to deal if I didn?t have wander locking down SS for the foreseeable future, but dealing from depth for a nice shot I?m the arm for my pitching staff is huge. :NYY: still looking to make q deal or two. It looks to me like you have me covering the whole 22,095,000 for Scherzer.  I am covering $19,000,000 and $2,500,000 was previously paid.  Which would leave you to owe $595,000.  Based on all of that, I have $463,474 left under the cap

My bad, we're all good, I was trying to travel the funds paid by :TOR: and needed to fix that.
