Title: White Sox/Rockies Trade
Post by: Paul S. on July 29, 2023, 11:55:03 PM

Rockies trade:  SP Zach Wheeler $8m (2024) and pay $8m cash for 2023 only

White Sox trade:
MI Luis Garcia $0.5m P-2024)
SP Carlos Rodriguez P-n/a

Rockies make this trade to add Garcia to replace Max Muncy and Jake Cronenworth who lose MI elegibility next season.  We also think Rodriguez can be an effective SP in a few years.

Thanks LockedNLoaded and confirm at your convenience.

White Sox confirm. Due to injuries we needed to add a SP. Thanks to the Rockies for the super easy trade talks.  :toth:
