Title: Rockies/Rangers trade
Post by: DaveW on July 27, 2023, 04:14:32 PM

Rockies trade:

Yu-Min Lin SP ARZ prospect
Jairo Iriarte SP SD prospect
Alejandro Osuna OF TEX prospect

Rangers trade:

Seiya Suzuki OF CHC 13.0 2026
Carmen Mlodzinski SP/RP PIT P-N/A

Excited to pick up Suzuki for the playoff run, and all of this salary cap space is burning a hole in my pocket.  Always tough to trade really good prospects but flags fly forever.  Thanks and good luck @bamavs !

If the trade gets approved, please demote to the minors:

Grant Anderson SP/RP TEX P-N/A

And release:

Drew Rucinski SP/RP OAK 3.0 2024 take full $5.3MM salary cap hit in 2023

I agree to this trade. Starting to fill up a lineup with some hitters with Westburg and Elly, but still horribly short handed at SP. Finding them hard to come by in FA, so I need to build up my farm depth.

It looks like Chen-Wei Lin was posted in the Fantrax trade and not Yu-Min Lin.
