Blue Jays trade:
MI Whit Merrifield $10.8m (2024)
MI Adrian Pinto pna


Blue Jays feel we are getting a longer term asset(s) for Whit who has been a godsend this season.

Marsh been solid, but I like Merrifield and his dual positon more and dont mind spec swap as both are intriguing.

* please check my math on salary coverage for Whit. There were several previous trades that involved cash exchanged on his contract, I think those have all been cleaned up now.
