Jazz get
- Gobert $20mn 2024 ($2.5mn already paid)
- Spurs first round pick 2025
Clippers get
- Porzingis $30mn 2024
Spurs get
- pick 5
Spurs would like to get younger, so we decided to move Gobert and a first round pick 2025 to get a top pick in the current draft

Jazz accept.
Originally acquired Porzingis to be a key contributor, but bringing back Gobert along with pick and bit more cap saving was worth pivoting.

Clippers accept
Didn't get the luck I hoped for in the lottery, turning the pick into an established star. Even though I do like guys in that area of the draft I do have some concerns about how they translate to NBA so taking the known commodity
