So this deal has alot of factors. I do it to turn Michael thomas into a more long term play picking up velus and a pick. The rest of it is a taysom hill 1 yr rental and grabbing reed. Saints to confirm. Long negotiations but they got done  :toast:

Saints confirm.  This trade has been in the works for a long time.  I really didn't want to give up a 2nd, but I can't keep extending Taysom while he's dual eligible and scoring like the #2TE in the league.  I'm gambling that MT stays healthy, but I think he does now that the Saints have a leader at QB now, something they haven't since Brees retired.  I had high hopes for Velus, but I'll watch from afar and try to find another young WR.  Thanks for the negotiations and good luck this season.
