Title: EY Jr. goes from New York to Pittsburgh
Post by: Colby on March 30, 2010, 08:15:07 PM

Yanks trade:  MI Young Jr., Eric, $0.5m (P-n/a)
Buccos trade:  CI Marte, Andy, $0.5m (P-2011) + 10-4 PIT

:PIT: explanation - I sent Snell to Cleveland for Marte in 2009 as it looked like he was on the verge of finally breaking it through.  With Headley and Raburn coming into town, and Wilson leaving, it opened up a door for a new line of MI prospects.

I accept.  With Overbay and Wiggington gone, I needed more CI depth in case of injury.  I am sure something will develop between Sanchez and Marte.  I get another draft pick as well.
