Title: Mets/Reds
Post by: Corey on December 23, 2011, 03:43:35 PM

:NYM: Send

C Doumit, Ryan, $4m (2013) +3m in 2012

to :CIN: for

SP Howard, Dillon, $0.5m (P-n/a)
RP Heilman, Aaron, $0.5m (2012)

Mets do this to land a guy they like in Howard. Heilman is a throw in to help the Mets still regain points.

Easy negotiation. I like it. Reds to accept

Reds do this just in case the Yanks try and get smart and not start Montero in the majors. Doumit is a decent back up - and should gain eligibility at other sots during the season. As 2011 taught me, you can never have enough depth.
