Title: Spurs/Nuggets trade
Post by: Interpaga on January 09, 2023, 05:03:50 PM

Spurs trade:
- Usman Garuba $2m 2025
- Chris Duarte $2.9m 2025 ($1.9m paid 2023)

Nuggets trade:
- Mark Williams $5.2m 2026
- Denver second round pick 2025

Spurs need to clear a spot in the team so decided to pack two young players for a rookie with good upside potential like Mark Williams

Confirmed:

Really like Duarte ceiling and surprisingly Garuba is getting rotation minutes and should have time to develop into a useful big. Tough to lose Williams tremendous upside but felt the gamble was worth it. Duarte at the very least Is a proven scored when healthy.
