I give up two of my best prospects in Vitters and Kelley to get Butler. I am also giving up my ace SP and a very solid second basemen, and taking on $22m of Meche crap to just get Butler. I have no clue how I will pay him next year, but his power will surely help me beat the A's, Yanks, and Red Sox.

Vitters is on the Cubs...he was moved in the 3 team deal.

The thought behind this trade is that I will be able to receive some youngsters, cut payroll, and sure up my lineup so that I can actually play this year. I have Hosmer who will hopefully be my future CI and Gordon who will hopefully breakout soon, once he gets over his injuries. Morel will compete with Viciedo for the CWS starting job in 2011, which is the year im aiming to compete.

My farm is shot to hell after this trade, but my offense can play with the Phillies, Brewers, Yanks, BoSox and A's. I can't quite match the A's pitching, but I can sure out-slug em!
