Title: Spurs Mavs Kings trade
Post by: Interpaga on October 07, 2022, 11:12:54 PM

Spurs get
- Kawhi Leonard $24m 2023 ($6m paid) from Kings
- Chris Duarte $2.9m 2025 ($1.9m paid 2023) from Kings

Mavs get
- Clint Capela $17.1m 2023 ($4.2m paid) from Spurs

Kings get
- Duncan Robinson $9m 2025 from Mavs
- Tobias Harris $20m 2025 ($9m paid 2023 and $7.5m paid 2024 and 2025) from Spurs
- Spurs first 2024
- Dallas first 2023
- Cleveland second 2024 from Mavs

Spurs are looking to improve the SF position while reducing the overload at C. Kawhi carries a high injury risk and load management but we believe he can do very well this season. Duarte should provide a good backup when Kawhi misses games. Spurs still get younger overall with this trade and reduce a bit the total salaries
