Spurs trade Quickley $0.5m 2023 $8m 2027 ($2m paid in 2026 and $2m paid in 2027)

for

Raptors Tre Jones $0.8m 2023

Despite Tre J being a potential steal at this price I see greater upside for Quickley. I am preapred to take the hit to my budget and to wait for him to hopefully get more minutes.

Spurs agree.
Tre Jones should have an expanded role this year and we expect he could develop into a good quality rotation player. Quickley has probably higher upside potential but we needed to reduce a bit the total salaries for next years.
