Reds get
P Beckett, Josh, $8.5m (2014)
+3 mil in 2012

Tigers get
MI Wong, Kolten, $0.5 (P-n/a)
MI Hamilton, Billy, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Cobb, Alex, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Reds give up our two best prospects, and a SP that we were very high on for someone that we hope will lead our staff for the life of his contract... With the recent move for Ortiz, the Reds would like to announce that yes we are going for the division...Hank thank you for the easy negotiations, confirm at your convenience

Tigers confirm.
We are happy to land the two top MI of the next generation and a promising young arm. Moving Beckett also free up some cap space for us.
