Cap Hit 2022- $5.5m
           2023- $3,5m
           2024- $2.0m
$5.5+$3.5+$2= $11m x 1.1=$12.1 rounded up to $12.5m
Since you only have $8m you would be better off "releasing" and spreading it out over 3 years

The hit against the cap is rounded to the nearest $500,000.

Also, I want to spread the buyout over 2 seasons: 10m in 2022 & 2m in 2023.  This should leave $2.5m for the 2022 cap.
