:WAS: makes this trade to add to its pitching depth for the playoffs.  Bassitt is a reasonable resign for an extension if the new GM should decide to do so.  Thanks @Paul S. !

Rockies confirm.  We did not plan on extending Bassitt and are happy to acquire a young player with nice upside potential.
