Title: New York Knicks / New Orleans Pelicans Trade
Post by: DynastyDeacon on May 22, 2022, 09:09:54 AM

New York Knicks trade:
New York Knicks 1st Round Pick in 2023
New York Knicks 1st Round Pick in 2024
Atlanta Hawks 1st Round Pick in 2024
Los Angeles Clippers 1st Round Pick in 2024
Los Angeles Clippers 2nd Round Pick in 2024

New Orleans Hornets trade:
Anthony Davis $30m (2026) (New Orleans Hornets pay $30m in 2023 only)

It's a large amount of picks for Anthony Davis and his large contract, but if he can stay healthy he is undoubtedly a team changer. Getting him free this year allows me to continue to build my team and use my additional salary space this year to get an additional free agent contributer.

New Orleans Pelicans confirm.  These picks spaced out over the next few seasons will allow me to build going forward.

Knicks fully exploit the new rule on cash exchanges. With 60mn of salary paid overall this year, they are definitely the team to beat
